AMIT – Creating Smart and Energy-Efficient National Team
Five enterprises of the electronic and electrical industrial chain in Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA) invested, initiated, and established AMIT, connecting smart machinery and Asia-Silicon Valley Development, creating a smart and energy-efficient motor national team and facing the global market demands with innovative service.
Responding to the sprouting of international innovative fundraising platform, for various smart innovative applications, such as robots, medical aids, and unmanned aerial vehicles, their cores all need “smart and energy-efficient motors” as their powered hearts. And the government promotes smart machinery and Asia-Silicon Valley Development to encourage enterprise innovative technology and develop innovative applications, where the key is in energy-efficient powers. Moreover, as governments from all countries propose saving energy and advocate high-efficient motor policies, this drives the technical innovative demands of the motor industries.
Seeing that most of Taiwan’s electromechanical industry is composed of small- and medium-sized enterprises, where the main strengths are still in production and manufacturing, facing the globalization trend, there is still insufficiency, whether it is in innovative R&D, product verification, patent protection, and business promotion, etc. In order to meet the needs of global innovative design and the demands of enhancing energy efficiency and bring about another peak to the Taiwan electromechanical industry, five enterprises of the electronic and electrical industrial chain in TEEMA invested, initiated, and established AMIT, connecting smart machinery and Asia-Silicon Valley Development, creating a smart and energy-efficient motor national team and facing the global market demands with innovative service.
AMIT emphasizes optimal practical and knowledge services, assisting Taiwan industrial chain firms in the parameterization, modularization, and standardization of production techniques and facing the global market using software tools and the Cloud platform. Its R&D and service are all so that the client’s entrusted services can achieve technical upgrade, direct production, and global sales in the end; supporting the weakness of domestic industries, assisting in shortening the development cycle of new products, grasping cloud competitiveness, and creating high value-added R&D energy. The mission that it shoulders is leading domestic electromechanical industry to assimilate into the global high-end market.
AMIT has four major services, which are, respectively, “Sub-System Design Center, Testing and Certification Center, Production Technological Center, and Cloud Service Center.” Servicing clients start from the design-end, taking sales-related regulations into consideration, such as efficiency, environmental protection, security, and other demands, providing the import of smart factory production technology, and assisting manufacturing companies in connecting with global clients through Cloud service platform.
AMIT passes on the domestic electromechanical industry’s solid production and technical knowledge, facing the global market needs with innovative service. And it will work hard to create a new industry boom, re-creating Taiwan’s reputation of being the Electromechanical Kingdom.
Taiwan was once the global motor manufacturing nation, facing the rise and challenge of the Mainland’s red supply chain: First, there was “Electric Motor Technology Research Center (EMTRC), National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)” founded by professor Mi-Ching Tsai of NCKU, opening the self R&D in Taiwan electromechanical industry; then, there was “Brushless Motor Innovative Application Development and Training Class” held by China Productivity Center (CPC) for three consecutive years, sowing the seeds of innovative knowledge. In 2014, the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC) assisted in the integration of Taiwan’s electromechanical industries, officially establishing the Taiwan Motor Industry Association (TMIA), hoping to re-create new opportunities in Taiwan’s electromechanical industries.
AMIT passes on the domestic electromechanical industry’s solid production and technical knowledge, facing the global market needs with innovative service. And it will work hard to create a new industry boom, re-creating Taiwan’s reputation of being the Electromechanical Kingdom.
